A Strong, Flexible, Pain-Free Body Starts With... Episode 002
What's the number one key to building a strong, flexible, pain-free body? It might sound a bit unconventional, but it's trust.Your nervous system is the CEO of your body. It tells your muscles what to do and that tells your bones where to go.Now, your nervous system and brain isn't designed to make you thrive, it's designed to keep you alive. That's why it's like a protective parent. If it doesn't feel like you have control, it won't trust you and will respond with guarding in the form of pain and tension. In this episode I talk about why this happens, and the number one thing you can do to rebuild trust in your body. The good news is your body is very adaptable. And if you start aligning with the way your body evolved to move, you can make changes relatively quickly.
